As a team or on their own, husband and wife business owners Anne Parker Johnson and Yann Lusseau have worked as pastry chefs and pastry cooks at some of the best restaurants, patisseries, and hotels throughout the United States and Europe, including Gotham Bar and Grill, Tavern on the Green, and Sarabeths's Kitchen in New York City; in Belgium; and, most recently, The Highlands Inn and Casanova Restaurant in Carmel, California.

Parker-Lusseau opened the doors of its Munras store in the summer of 1996 - with one employee.  In 2002, they opened the Hartnell store in the Fremont Adobe, next to the Monterey Post Office. In 2009, they opened the Ryan Ranch store.  Parker-Lusseau now has a total of 13 employees, full and part-time. Everything is baked fresh daily at the main Munras store.

Anne was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and Yann was born and raised in Nantes, France. They met in Belgium in 1989 and were married in 1991.
